The APC governorship candidate in Osun, Bola Oyebamiji, has greeted muslims celebrating Eid al-Fitr while promising jobs, economic growth, and youth empowerment across the state.

Oyebamiji said the values observed during Ramadan, including patience, discipline, and compassion, should guide residents’ actions beyond the fasting period.

“Ramadan has reminded us of the enduring virtues of patience, discipline, compassion, and sacrifice,” he said, adding that “these values should not end with fasting but guide our collective actions towards a prosperous, peaceful, and progressive Osun.”

He linked these principles to his governorship agenda, emphasizing the need for unity, visionary leadership, and public support ahead of the upcoming election.

Oyebamiji highlighted key areas of focus, including creating jobs, supporting small businesses, empowering youths, and improving infrastructure across the state.

He also urged residents to maintain peace, harmony, and cooperation among communities of different religious and ethnic backgrounds.

“Together, with faith and determination, we can build a brighter future for our children and generations yet unborn,” he said, praying for the acceptance of fasting, prayers, and charity during the festive period.

The candidate described the election as a critical moment for Osun, stressing that leadership must prioritize the welfare of the people to drive growth and development.

He encouraged muslims and all residents to carry the discipline and compassion of Ramadan into everyday life to foster progress and societal wellbeing
