The Lagos State Government has declared Thursday, August 20, 2026, a public holiday to mark this year’s Isese Day celebration.
The declaration was contained in a statement signed by the Head of Service, Bode Agoro.
The state government said the decision was to enable public servants to participate fully in the annual celebration.
The statement read in part: “It is hereby notified that this year’s Isese Day celebration will hold on Thursday, 20th August 2026.”
