The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled the structure of its campaign council ahead of the 2027 general elections, with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and former governors Babatunde Fashola and Akinwunmi Ambode among those listed.
The list was published on Thursday by the Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Media Centre.
According to the structure, Prince Tajudeen Olusi will serve as Chairman of the Governance Advisory Council, while Sanwo-Olu is listed as Advisory Council Chairman. Fashola and Ambode will serve as Co-Chairmen.
Other members of the advisory structure include Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to the President; Mudashiru Obasa, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly; and former Minister of Health, Adeleke Mamora.
At the campaign council level, Sanwo-Olu is listed as Chairman, with his deputy, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, as Deputy Chairman.
Ojelabi Cornelius is named Vice Chairman I, Obasa Vice Chairman II, and Damilola Sonayon James Vice Chairman III.
Former Senator Musiliu Obanikoro will serve as Director-General, while Rasaq Ajala is Deputy Director-General and Adekunle Olayinka is Campaign Secretary.
The council comprises various directorates and sub-committees responsible for areas including legal and compliance, party and inter-party affairs, administration and logistics, traditional institutions, diaspora engagement and residents’ associations.
The formal inauguration of the campaign council is scheduled for Friday, September 18, at the APC Secretariat on ACME Road, Ikeja, Lagos.
