Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, has acknowledged that is is difficult for them to upturn the 3-0 advantage that Arsenal now have over them in their Champions League last-eight game.
Arsenal shocked many soccer lovers across the world on Tuesday when they walloped the favoured Madrid three good goals to nothing.
Declan Rice was the biggest hero, scoring two fantastic goals via free kicks.
Although Courtois was in goal throughout, picking the ball from the net in the humiliating round, a lot of people still believe he saved Madrid from a worse catastrophe as he saved some vital kicks.
Speaking at the end of the game held at Emirates, he conceded that a comeback was difficult.
He, however, believes it is possible when the second leg holds on their pitch next week.
Courtois noted:
“(A comeback) is difficult but we know we’re strong at home with our fans.
“They have to believe in this team, from the first minute we’ll give everything to turn around the result.
“We have to correct our mistakes and try to win. If we score one or two, quickly… I think it’s possible.”
