Popular rapper, Odumodublvck, has made a temple of X to preach the need to defend and propagate Christianity.
Although a secular artiste, he spoke candidly in defence of Christianity, urging fellow faithful to be firm even in the face of persecution.
The penetration of social media, coupled with socioeconomic pressure and contradictions, has pushed many, especially youths, into tackling religions and their promoters.
Christian leaders have not been immune to harsh questions on social media.
But Odumodublvck stressed in a tweet posted on Sunday. “As a Christian you must be very confident when you are being vocal about the faith. They will try to silence you by saying na you holy pass, but you yourself know say you still dey ask God for mercy.”
According to him, culture now normalises speaking against God, and that should be met with equal resistance.
“They have made it a norm to preach against God so we must make it a norm to preach against the things God has said He is not for. We must do it courageously cause with it comes persecution, just as the scriptures have said it will be,” he added.
