A leaked intimate video involving Mrs. Chinasa Odika and her alleged lover, popularly referred to as “Ichie,” has stirred controversy and ignited public outrage in Uga Market, Anambra State.

Mrs. Odika, who has since addressed the issue, admitted to being in the video and described the incident as a mistake. “It was a mistake, and no woman will say she has never done what I did in that video,” she stated, defending herself amid growing backlash.

However, her explanation has not calmed the storm. A group of aggrieved women staged a protest at her shop in Uga Market, accusing her of moral misconduct and of negatively influencing their husbands.

The protesting women expressed their anger, saying, “Our anger is that the style she gave to our husbands, we have never given it to them because we don’t know it.”

The protestors, visibly enraged, vowed to expel Mrs. Odika from the market, branding her a bad role model and a source of shame to womanhood. Tensions remain high as market leaders and community elders deliberate on how to address the situation.

Authorities have not released any formal statement, and it is unclear whether any legal actions will follow. Meanwhile, the incident continues to dominate local discussions, raising concerns about privacy, morality, and societal standards.

Mrs. Odika had claimed in an interview that domestic violence and lack of love drove her to other men’s arms. She said her husband who is a builder and okada operator does not care about her reason she claims they are now separated.
