Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to making Lagos a top destination for investment, as he attended the second edition of the Invest Lagos Summit on Wednesday.

Speaking at the summit, Governor Sanwo-Olu noted that the event provided a vital platform for engagement between the state government and key players from various sectors, including local and international businesses, investors, and representatives from foreign trade missions operating in Nigeria.
The governor described the summit as part of ongoing efforts to open up Lagos to greater private-sector participation and unlock economic opportunities across the state.
“This summit is a continuation of our commitment to fostering an investment-friendly environment where businesses can not only survive but thrive,” he said. “It is our belief that with the right policies and infrastructure, Lagos will continue to be a beacon of economic growth in Nigeria and Africa.”
The Invest Lagos Summit serves as a strategic initiative to attract both local and foreign investments into critical sectors such as infrastructure, technology, real estate, manufacturing, and green energy. It also promotes collaboration between government and private stakeholders toward achieving sustainable economic development.
Governor Sanwo-Olu’s presence at the summit underscores the administration’s proactive approach to driving economic growth through partnerships, innovation, and investor confidence.
