Calm has returned to Mandilas area of Lagos Island following a violent clash between two men on Wednesday that resulted in the death of one of them.

Initial reports suggested that hoodlums had taken over the streets, attacking passersby. However, the Lagos State Police Command has dismissed the claims, assuring residents that order has been restored.

Police spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that officers from Lion Building and Ebute-Ero Divisions swiftly moved to the scene and successfully restored peace.
