Superstar, singer/songwriter, Adekunle Gold, comes out to social media to tell the world that he deserves every spotlight on the red carpet.
This was occasioned by the opportunity he had to attend the 2025 edition of the Ballon d’Or in Paris, France.
He stated, “Make nobody tell me say I don’t really deserve it, I prayed for this all my life.”
This statement, which he put out on social media on Tuesday afternoon, has caused reactions from fellow netizens.
Netizens are of the opinion that the superstar is an inspiration to many.
A commentator on Instagram even went as far as quoting the superstar from one of his original songs– “Gone through hell and I’m still so cool………..call me Gold”.
Gold not only achieved his dreams, but he also made a special announcement of a new music album dropping in 9days.
Other netizens feel the star seems to resemble Dembele, the football player who won the Ballon d’Or award, which the star attended.
Nigerians at large seem to be very well pleased with his achievements, with commoners and celebrities praising and appraising the star in different ways.
