Senator Prince Ned Nwoko has broken his silence on the crisis rocking his marriage to Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, accusing her of violence, drug abuse, and destruction of property.
In a statement released on Sunday titled “Regina’s Unprovoked Carnage and Rampage in My House and in My Absence,” the Delta North senator claimed that Daniels’ alleged addiction to drugs and alcohol had led to repeated episodes of aggression and chaos in their home.
“Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem,” Nwoko stated. “She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety.”
The lawmaker said he had set conditions for his wife to undergo rehabilitation either in Asokoro, Abuja, or abroad — particularly in Jordan — where she would have no access to drugs. He alleged that Regina refused and instead moved to a location where she could continue her habits unchecked.
Nwoko further claimed that in the past 48 hours, the actress had slapped and attacked three domestic staff members, destroyed cars and windows, and even threatened to harm their resident nurse.
“The truth is, I have other wives, and none will ever accuse me of violence. Regina is the violent one here,” he said, adding that he personally took their son, Moon, to the hospital after Regina allegedly failed to do so.
He also mentioned two individuals, identified only as Sammy and Ann, as alleged suppliers of drugs to the actress.
The public exchange follows a viral video earlier in the week showing a tearful Regina Daniels accusing Nwoko of domestic violence — a claim that has since stirred widespread controversy and divided public opinion.
