A magistrate court in Kuje, Abuja m, has granted a N500,000 bail to Alex Ikwechegh, a member of the House of Representatives, following an assault of Stephen Abuwatseya, a Bolt driver.
At the court on Wednesday, Ikwechegh was arraigned on a three-count charge bordering on assault and threat to life.
The charges were filed by the office of the inspector-general of police.
The member representing Aba south, Aba north federal constituency pleaded not guilty to the charges.
