Senate President Godswill Akpabio congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 59th birthday and acknowledged his achievements in public service.
Akpabio, in a statement issued through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Eseme Eyiboh, said Shettima had played a vital role in strengthening President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
He said Shettima had fostered peace, unity, and development, and served as a stabilizing influence through his roles as commissioner, governor, senator, and now vice president.
He explained that he sent the message to mark Shettima’s 59th birthday.
“Today, we celebrate not only the years of your life but also the remarkable accomplishments you have achieved in service to our people,” Akpabio said.
He noted that the statement was released in Nigeria as part of the Senate’s goodwill.
Akpabio added that he personally signed the message and, on behalf of the 10th Senate, his constituents, and his family, wished Shettima good health, happiness, and the strength to continue supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda.
