Nigerian production house Anthill Studios has announced a new Nollywood sitcom titled Temi & The Labalaba Band.
The show was unveiled on Friday, during a virtual press event attended by the director and cast.
According to Broadcast Media Africa, the show mixes music, culture, and humour, and it’s set to air on streaming platforms this weekend.
Director Niyi Akinmolayan said, “We created something truly fun and rich in Nigerian storytelling.”
The show features a family band navigating life, school, and dreams while tackling real-life issues.
Early viewers who got preview access say the show is funny, heartwarming, and filled with Nigerian vibes.
The cast includes young talents and veteran actors known for family-friendly roles.
Anthill believes this show can fill the family entertainment gap currently missing on Nigerian TV.
