Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has directed the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to withdraw its criminal complaints against Fuji legend Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, and reduce his flight ban from six months to one month.
The NCAA will also restore the licenses of Captain Oluranti Ogoyi and First Officer Ivan Oloba of VALUEJET after serving a one-month suspension.
In a related development, Keyamo intervened in the case of Ms. Comfort Emmanson of Ibom Airline, securing an agreement from the carrier to withdraw its complaint against her. He further instructed the Commissioner of Police at the Airport Command to take immediate steps to facilitate her release from Kirikiri Prisons this week.
Following his meeting with the leadership of the Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON), Keyamo also persuaded them to lift the lifetime flying ban imposed on Emmanson.
