The body of former President Muhammadu Buhari has departed London, United Kingdom, en route to Katsina State ahead of his burial.
Buhari, who passed away in a London hospital, will be laid to rest later today in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State, in accordance with Islamic rites.
According to reports, the late president’s remains were airlifted on Tuesday morning aboard the Nigerian presidential aircraft.
