A devastating explosion at a CCTV dealer’s shop on Kodesho Street, near Computer Village in the Ikeja area of Lagos State, has resulted in one death and four injuries. The incident occurred on Friday around 6:35 pm, and one of the five victims succumbed to injuries on Saturday evening.

– Explosion: The explosion prompted an immediate response from the Lagos State Police Command, which cordoned off the scene to ensure public safety.
– Investigation: The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Unit and other police teams swept the area to determine the cause of the explosion. The investigation is still ongoing, with the police promising to make the findings public once concluded.
– Victims: The five injured individuals were rushed to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital for treatment. Despite efforts to save one of the victims, they unfortunately passed away on Saturday.
