FG declares Monday, Tuesday as public holidays for Eid-el-Fitr celebration

The Federal Government has declared Monday, March 31, and Tuesday, April 1, as public holidays to mark the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo congratulated Muslims on completing the Ramadan fast and urged them to embrace virtues like self-discipline, compassion, and peace.

Tunji-Ojo called on Nigerians to pray for peace, stability, and prosperity during the festive period.

He encouraged citizens to celebrate responsibly and show kindness to the less privileged, in line with the spirit of Ramadan and Eid.

The minister extended Eid Mubarak wishes to all Muslim faithful, praying for happiness, success, and fulfillment.
