Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has revealed a bold prophecy that the church’s Governing Council will one day hold its meetings on the moon.
He shared this vision during the April edition of the Holy Ghost Congress convention, citing God’s limitless power and past promises that have come to pass.
The Prophecy
Adeboye recounted how God told him about the future meeting on the moon, saying, “I know with God all things are possible… He told me a time will come when the RCCG Governing Council will hold its meetings on the moon. It may not make sense, but that’s God. You don’t have to believe it—but it will come to pass.”
Past Promises Fulfilled
The 83-year-old cleric also shared a past experience where God told him he would own a city, despite living in a one-room apartment in Mushin, Lagos.
Adeboye said, “Just like He said to me not to ask for a house, I have decided to build a city.”
This prophecy has sparked mixed reactions, with some viewing it as a demonstration of unshakable faith and others expressing skepticism over its practicality.
The Moon’s Habitability
According to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the moon has no evidence of its own living things, but it could be a site for future human colonization.
Reactions and Implications
Adeboye’s prophecy has drawn significant attention in Nigeria and globally, showcasing his influence as a leading voice in Christianity.
While some people may question the feasibility of holding meetings on the moon, Adeboye’s conviction in God’s power remains unwavering .
