As part of its efforts to ensure a flood-free Lagos, the Lagos State Government has commenced the cleaning of McGregor Channel in Obalende.
According to Tokunbo Wahab, the commissioner for environment and water resources, the exercise, which began in Sunday, aims to clear the drainage channels and prevent flooding during the upcoming rainy season.
