Green Africa airline grounds flights, apologises for inconvenience

Domestic airline, Green Africa, has announced a temporary suspension of its flight operations, citing an unexpected issue with its aircraft lessor.

Despite efforts to mitigate the disruption, the airline confirmed that flights will remain grounded until after the Eid al-Fitr holidays.

In a statement issued on Monday, Green Africa expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to its customers and assured them that it is working diligently to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

“We sincerely apologize to our valued customers who will be impacted by this disruption,” the airline said. “Please rest assured that we are actively working towards ensuring that we are able to resume operations in very short order.”

Although the airline did not disclose specific details about the dispute with its lessor, it reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and customer service.
