Nollywood actress, Liz Anjorin, has reminded gospel musician, Tope Alabi, about how she (Anjorin) once stood by her when she had issues with a deceased cleric, Prophet Elijah Ajanaku.
The late cleric, whom some saw as Alabi’s spiritual godfather, got estranged with her before his passing.
Anjorin recalled the issue as she reacted to Alabi’s refusal to play at her birthday programme held in Lagos days ago.
The actress’ friends had invited her for a surprise performance but Alabi backed down upon realising she had come to Anjorin’s house.
She has refunded the N2.5m she was paid although those who contracted her alleged the contract was worth between three and four million naira.
In a video in which she reacted to the incident, Anjorin claimed that Alabi’s impression of her is wrong, saying she is a good human being who harbours no harm against anyone.
According to her, she is holier than the gospel act:
‘’I am holier than you, Aunty mi Tope. If we are to ask what is your impact in the society? I am holier than you. I have impacted lives than you. I have empowered lives than you. If you say you have empowered people, they are people who fed off you, not people in the society. I have done more good , I have added more value to the society than you.
“Aunty mi, If I should count them all, it will take more than a year. I have done beautifully well. I am pure. If you judge me, I am thankful that God does not judge me”
