Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the extension of the work-from-home policy for government employees.

The extension is for an additional additional three months. The extension, effective from September 4, was confirmed in a circular signed by the Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro.

The policy, initially implemented on February 28, allows employees on grade levels 01 to 14 to work remotely two days a week, while those on grade levels 15 to 17 are permitted to work from home one day a week. This measure aims to mitigate the impact of fuel subsidy removals on workers.

Governor Sanwo-Olu highlighted that the policy has positively influenced productivity across various state ministries, departments, and agencies.
