Former lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has described as laughable the move by Kaduna State former Governor, Nasir el-Rufai, to mobilise votes against President Bola Tinubu.

This is as he explained the reason he – Sani – returned to the All Progressives Congress.

In an interview on ‘Channels Television’, he said, “I’m back in the APC because  Mallam El-Rufai and his disastrous rule in Kaduna State are over and the New Governor called for peace  between those of us that left and the party. So, we returned as a bloc the same way we left as a bloc.

“As for Mallam El-Rufai, it’s  laughable that he thinks he can mobilise votes against  the President, since during the last elections, he lost the Presidential elections, all the three senate seats and nine of the thirteen House of Representatives seat because of his divisive type of governance.”
