I made N70 million in three days” — Portable boasts after defeating Speed Darlington in celebrity boxing match, credits Burna Boy for surprise cash gift

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has revealed that he made a staggering N70 million in just three days following his high-profile boxing match with fellow entertainer Speed Darlington.

The celebrity showdown took place on April 18 at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. Portable emerged victorious after Darlington was unable to continue into the second round, prompting officials to declare Portable the winner.

In a viral video, Portable shared the breakdown of his earnings from the event. According to him, he was paid N30 million upfront to participate in the match and was promised an additional N20 million bonus if he won—which he did.

To top it off, he revealed that Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy gifted him an extra N20 million in support and celebration of his victory.

“I was first given N30 million to agree to the fight. Then they said if I win, I would get another N20 million, making it 50 million. After I beat Speed Darlington—I even wounded him—then Burna Boy sent me an extra N20 million. So, in just three days, I made N70 million,” Portable bragged in the clip.
