Tinubu swears in Bianca Ojukwu, Oduwole, five others as ministers

President Bola Tinubu has sworn in the seven ministers he newly-appointed in a ceremony held at the council chambers, State House of As, Abuja on Monday.

These ministers were recently confirmed by the Senate after screening, where senators questioned them on their assigned portfolios.

This swearing-in follows the dismissal of five previous ministers by President Tinubu about two weeks ago, after which he nominated these new officials to fill the vacancies and expand his cabinet.

The new ministers that took the oath of office are: Idi Maiha (Minister of Livestock Development); Yusuf Ata (Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development); Dr Suwaiba Ahmad (Minister of State, Education); and Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu (Minister of State, Foreign Affairs.

Others are: Dr Jumoke Oduwole (Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment), Dr Nentawe Yilwatda (Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction), and Muhammadu Dingyadi (Minister of Labour and Employment.
