A UK-based firm, TEXEM, has congratulated the Lagos State Government on the successful launch of the Lagos App, a groundbreaking innovation that promises to improve governance, service delivery, and nation-building in Nigeria.

The App, launched by deputy governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, a TEXEM alumnus, offers a seamless and centralized platform for citizens to access vital public services, including transportation schedules, utility bill payments, and emergency notifications.

Dr. Hamzat’s achievement is particularly significant, given Nigeria’s large youthful population, which requires scalable, accessible, and smart solutions.

The Lagos App brings government to the fingertips of the people, amplifying their voices and enabling feedback and participation in governance.

The App is also expected to contribute to economic growth and productivity by reducing wait times, eliminating inefficiencies, and minimizing red tape. This efficiency is likely to bolster Lagos State’s competitiveness and drive Nigeria’s GDP upward.

TEXEM’s Founder, Dr. Alim Abubakre, praised Dr. Hamzat’s outstanding contribution, encouraging TEXEM alumni to emulate his courage, foresight, and patriotism.

Dr. Hamza’s visionary leadership is an inspiration to many, and his legacy is expected to influence future innovations across Africa and beyond.
