Social media comedian Carter Efe has emerged as the new celebrity boxing champion after defeating street-hop artiste Portable by unanimous decision at the Chaos in the Ring 4 event in Lagos.
The bout, held at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, saw all three judges score the contest 30-27 in favour of Efe after three rounds of action.
Portable, known for his energetic and unconventional fighting style, entered the ring confident of securing a third title, having previously defeated Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington in earlier celebrity bouts.
He had boasted ahead of the fight that he would add Efe to his list of victims, but the comedian proved him wrong with a composed and tactical performance.
In the opening round, Portable came out aggressively, throwing wild punches, but Efe remained calm, absorbing the pressure and responding with precise counters, including uppercuts and body shots.
The second round followed a similar pattern, with Portable continuing his erratic approach while Efe improved his accuracy and landed cleaner combinations. By the third round, Efe had taken full control, consistently finding his target until the final bell.
The victory ends Portable’s unbeaten run in celebrity boxing and crowns Efe as the new champion.
