An X influencer identified as @AJSMILE911 has reportedly been arrested at his residence in Abuja, days after posting a controversial claim involving music executive Don Jazzy and singer Ayra Starr’s mother.
The alleged arrest came to public attention on Friday after another X user, @Funksmama, shared a screenshot purportedly showing a message from the influencer’s brother.
According to the alleged message, some men arrived at the residence in the morning, collected the phones of those present and took the influencer away.
The reported incident followed a post made by @AJSMILE911 on September 29, in which he shared a video of Don Jazzy interacting with Ayra Starr’s mother and captioned it as though the pair were expecting a child together.
The video, however, was originally posted by Ayra Starr’s mother on November 26, 2023, and was not recent.
Don Jazzy subsequently reacted to the influencer’s post on September 30, tagging him and writing: “Let me first tag and beg your family members to talk sense to you now o.”
Despite the warning, the post remained online.
However, there has been no official confirmation of the alleged arrest from the Nigeria Police Force, Don Jazzy, Ayra Starr or her mother as of the time of filing this report.
The circumstances surrounding the reported detention therefore remain unclear, with the claim currently based on social media posts that have not been independently verified.
