A popular inter-state transportation company, Ikomodina A. A Motors on New Year’s day received a fleet of 10 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) powered buses from the federal government.
The buses delivered form Abuja were received at the the A.A Motors terminal park, Mile 2 Lagos-Badagry Expressway.
Commending President Bola Tinubu’s initiative, the operators of the company said: “It is essential to ensure sustainable transportation to mitigate the impact of fuel subsidy removal while promoting safer, cleaner, and more reliable transportation.
“This partnership is anticipated to elevate the state’s public transport sector, providing cost-effective and eco-friendly solutions for both commuters and transport operators.
“I appreciate and commend the initiative supporting private transporters in Lagos; this will strengthen the partnership with A.A Motors Logistics Company. The buses were tested and commenced operation immediately after delivery for inter-state commercial mass transit services in the South West region.”
