Senior Lagos traffic and security officials are currently at the Otedola Bridge supervising the evacuation of vehicles involved in an accident and efforts to restore the free flow of traffic.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai, psc, mnips, is at the scene alongside the FRSC Lagos State Sector Commander, Corps Commander Kehinde Hamzat.
Also present is the Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Ministry of Transportation, Mr Olawale Musa, and the General Manager of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Mr Bakare Oki.
The officials are coordinating the removal of the accidented vehicles and monitoring traffic management operations to minimise disruption and ensure the prompt restoration of normal traffic movement along the Otedola Bridge.
Motorists using the route are advised to exercise caution and follow instructions from traffic management personnel at the scene.
