Pastor Tunde Bakare, Serving Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church (CGCC), has cautioned President Bola Tinubu against “playing God” in his governance style.
Delivering a “state of the nation” broadcast in Lagos, Bakare urged the President to adopt a more humble approach, emphasizing that the current administration is steering the nation off course.
Criticism of Governance Style
Bakare expressed his disagreement with Tinubu’s leadership, stating that the legislature is crumbling under his watch.
He also criticized the National Assembly’s suspension of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, citing a lack of transparency.
Call for Humility
The cleric urged the President to embrace humility and allow for accountability, stressing that his intention was not to condemn but to guide the leadership toward a better path.
