Captain of the Super Falcons, Rasheedat Ajibade, on Saturday made a stirring appearance at the Prayer City of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) during the August edition of the monthly Power Must Change Hands (PMCH) programme. The football star, fresh off Nigeria’s victorious campaign at the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco, shared her inspiring journey from humble beginnings to international acclaim.
During her testimony, Ajibade attributed much of her success to her foundation in spiritual warfare, nurtured through the teachings of her mother and the General Overseer of MFM, Dr. D.K. Olukoya.
She recounted how, in the face of challenges at her club or on the pitch, she would turn to prayer—backed by hard work—to find solutions and peace.
Ajibade also reflected on her early life, recalling how she once hawked items such as olive oil, kunu, and zobo at deliverance programmes held in the same Prayer City where she now stood in triumph.
She was joined at the event by the wife of the Lagos State Governor, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, as she gave thanks and celebrated the Super Falcons’ WAFCON victory with the congregation.
