Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, has presented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu with a drawing she made of him and his late mother.

The minister and Mr President

Musawa made the presentation during a courtesy visit to the President following his return and the conclusion of the national premiere of a documentary on the late businessman and politician, Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola.

Sharing details of the visit, the minister said the artwork was particularly meaningful to her because of the special bond between a mother and her child.

Musawa, a lawyer who revealed that she paints as a hobby, said the drawing was also inspired by President Tinubu’s support for her during the difficult period following the death of her own mother.

“During the visit, I had the privilege of presenting Mr President with a drawing I made of him and his late mother,” she said.

“I draw as a hobby, but this particular piece was deeply personal to me. It was inspired by the special place a mother holds in the life of a child and, more personally, by the support Mr President showed me during the difficult period following the loss of my own mother.”

The minister expressed appreciation to Tinubu for what she described as his continued support and kindness towards her.

She also prayed for divine wisdom, strength and guidance for the President as he leads the country.

“I am deeply grateful to Mr President for his continued support and kindness towards me. I pray that Almighty God continues to grant him wisdom, strength and guidance as he leads our nation,” Musawa said.

She added: “May God continue to guide and strengthen you, Mr President.”
