The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) says it is strengthening its partnership with the government and key stakeholders to build a stronger and more sustainable Nigerian economy.
NACCIMA’s National President, Dr. Jani Ibrahim, says this in Abuja during the celebration of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, which also marks the association’s 65th year of existence.
He explains that the chamber remains focused on promoting business-friendly policies that can boost industrial growth, innovation, and entrepreneurship across the country.
“As we celebrate this dual milestone, we reaffirm our commitment to continue to promote an enabling business environment,” he says.
Dr. Ibrahim adds that the association supports the Federal Government’s plan to grow the economy to a one trillion-dollar Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by 2030.
He notes that NACCIMA plans to deepen cooperation with public institutions, development partners, and private investors to create more jobs and expand trade opportunities.
“We are ready to deepen regional and global trade integration and harness the transformative potential of innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment to unlock Nigeria’s full economic potential,” he states.
According to him, NACCIMA will continue to engage with the Federal Government under President Bola Tinubu’s leadership to achieve shared national goals.
“Our association is committed to partnering with the Federal Government to achieve the one trillion-dollar GDP target by 2030,” he emphasizes.
Dr. Ibrahim says NACCIMA’s 65-year history reflects the resilience and creativity of Nigerians who continue to drive the nation’s economic progress.
He calls on citizens to stay united and “renew their faith in Nigeria, strengthen institutions, and harness the boundless potential of our people and resources to build the prosperous future we all envision.”
