Chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has announced a major financial incentive for the Super Eagles following their impressive victory over Algeria, as the team advanced to the semi-finals of the ongoing tournament.
In a congratulatory message dated January 10, 2026, Rabiu commended the players for lifting the spirit of the nation and uniting Nigerians with their performance on the pitch.
To motivate the team ahead of the semi-final clash, the BUA Group chairman pledged $500,000 to the players if they secure victory, with an additional $50,000 for every goal scored in the match.
He further stated that should the Super Eagles go on to win the final, he would reward the team with $1,000,000, alongside $100,000 for each goal scored in the final encounter.
Rabiu wished the team continued success as they carry Nigeria’s hopes forward, urging them to keep making the nation proud as they push for continental glory.
