The Lagos State Chairman of the Accord Party, Dele Oladeji, has set April 25 as the deadline for the party’s electoral process while unveiling nomination fees for aspirants ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Oladeji announced the timeline after the party’s National Executive Council meeting in Abuja, where leaders concluded plans for primaries and candidate selection.

“We are also warning of the closure to the electoral window on April 25,” he said.

He stated that governorship aspirants will pay N10 million for nomination and N5 million for expression of interest.

He added that Senate aspirants will pay N5 million for nomination and N2.5 million for expression of interest.

He said House of Representatives aspirants will pay N3.5 million for nomination and N1.5 million for expression of interest.

He noted that State House of Assembly aspirants will pay N1 million for nomination and N500,000 for expression of interest.

“The NEC meeting serves as the concluding meeting for the fixing of nomination fees, primary date and the primary mode ahead of the 2027 general elections,” Oladeji said.

Oladeji said membership registration and the sale of nomination forms will close on April 26.

He added that the party will commence its primary elections on May 21.

Oladeji urged Lagos residents seeking change in governance to join the party and contest elections.

“Accord is the party to vote for. If you desire a change in governance, then you need to change the party that will govern Lagos State from 2027,” he said.

He added that the party aims to produce leaders who will reform institutions and improve governance across the state.
