MultiChoice Nigeria has announced that the 11th season of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) will premiere on Sunday, July 26, 2026, with the winner set to receive a record-breaking N160 million grand prize.
The prize package includes N100 million in cash and a brand-new SUV, making it the biggest reward in the history of the reality TV show.
Speaking at a press briefing, Atinuke Babatunde, Executive Head of Content and Channels, West Africa at MultiChoice, said the new season would feature fresh twists and an exciting mix of housemates to keep viewers entertained throughout the competition.
The launch show will air from 7 p.m. on Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family, while the 24-hour live broadcast will be available on DStv Channel 198, GOtv Channel 49, and via the DStv and GOtv Stream platforms.
Auditions for the new season were held in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu from May 22 to 24 and were open to Nigerians aged 21 and above with valid means of identification.
The last edition was won by Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, who claimed a grand prize worth N150 million, including N80 million in cash and an SUV, after defeating 28 other contestants.
