The Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Blue Line will operate an expanded service schedule on Sunday, 28 December 2025, to accommodate thousands of concertgoers attending Wizkid’s “G.O.A.T: The Greatest Of All Time Experience” at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos.
In a statement issued by the LRMT management, the enhanced service is aimed at easing transportation and ensuring smooth mobility before, during and after the highly anticipated concert, which is scheduled to run from 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, 28 December, until 6:00 a.m. on Monday, 29 December 2025.
According to the announcement, the Blue Line will increase operations from its regular 22 Sunday trips to a total of 54 trips. Trains will run at 30-minute intervals between 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. on the concert day to meet expected passenger demand.
The rail operator added that normal weekday operations will resume on Monday, 29 December 2025, with 90 train trips running daily from 6:30 a.m.
The statement was signed by the Head of Corporate Communication, Kolawole Ojelabi, who encouraged passengers to take advantage of the rail service for a safe, convenient and efficient commute to and from the event venue.
