On Thursday, July 31, 2025, the value of China’s currency, the Yuan, dropped to 7.1494 per U.S. dollar, according to the China Foreign Exchange Trade System in Beijing.
This change occurred because the daily rate is calculated based on the average prices offered by traders before the market opens each business day.
In China’s foreign exchange market, the Yuan is allowed to move up or down by 2% from this rate during trading.
The new rate reflects how the market responds to current financial conditions
