A magistrate court in Sagamu, Ogun State, has granted bail to Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, the driver of the Lexus sports utility vehicle (SUV) involved in the crash that claimed lives and reportedly involved former world heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua.
Kayode was arraigned on Friday by the police on a four-count charge bordering on dangerous driving causing death, reckless and negligent driving, driving without due care and attention, and driving without a valid national driver’s licence.
The magistrate granted him bail in the sum of N5 million, with two sureties. Pending the fulfilment of the bail conditions, Kayode was remanded in a correctional facility.
If you want it tightened further for a breaking-news style or adjusted to remove the Anthony Joshua reference from the lead, I can do that quickly.
