A fire broke out on Sunday at Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, with the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) confirming that no casualties were recorded.
In a statement posted on its official X account, FAAN said its Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting Service (ARFFS) responded promptly and was working to contain the blaze.
The authority assured the public that there had been no loss of life or injuries, adding that further updates would be provided as more details emerge.
