Ghanaian self-styled prophet, Ebo Noah, has asked Ghanaians and other followers who trooped out in fear of an impending global flood to return to their homes, declaring that the world will not end today, December 25.
The preacher, who had earlier predicted that a catastrophic flood would begin on Christmas Day, said the prophesied disaster had been postponed after an all-night session of prayers and supplications. According to him, he pleaded with God to spare humanity from destruction.
Speaking to his followers, Ebo Noah claimed that God heard the cries of the people and showed mercy, instructing him to ask those who had gone into hiding — including individuals who gathered around makeshift arks — to go back home.
“God has listened and has decided to show mercy,” the prophet reportedly said, adding that divine instructions were given for people to remain calm while preparations for additional arks continue.
Ebo Noah had sparked widespread reactions across Ghana and beyond after announcing that a three-year global flood would begin on December 25, 2025. His claims drew thousands of followers from different parts of Africa to Ghana, many hoping to secure space on the arks he constructed for survivors.
As of the time of this report, no flood has occurred, though the prophecy and its sudden reversal have continued to generate intense public debate, skepticism, and concern across the country.
