Seun Kuti has declared that his rift with fellow Nigerian star Wizkid is permanent, insisting there is no chance of reconciliation between them.
Speaking on a recent podcast, Seun dismissed claims that the two artists may have quietly settled their differences, stressing that he has no intention of engaging with Wizkid again. According to him, the dispute became deeply personal after remarks he believes disrespected his late father, Fela Kuti.
He maintained that such comments crossed a line that cannot be undone, making it impossible to move past the conflict.
The feud began earlier this year when Seun criticised comparisons between Wizkid and Fela, arguing that they diminish the legacy of the Afrobeat legend. The disagreement soon escalated on social media, with both artists exchanging remarks, further widening the divide.
