Social media commentator VeryDarkMan has released another audio recording involving Chidera Precious Okafor, who claims to be the daughter of popular cleric Pastor Chris Okafor, detailing events she says forced her to leave his house in 2020.
The development comes amid ongoing controversy surrounding Pastor Okafor, who has recently been accused by Nollywood actress Doris Ogala of reneging on a promise to marry her. Ogala has alleged that their relationship began in 2017 and that she left her former marriage at the pastor’s insistence.
In the audio shared on Facebook by VeryDarkMan, Chidera Precious alleged that she was treated unfairly compared to other children in the household. She further claimed that an incident occurred after Pastor Okafor allegedly summoned her to his room, locked the door, and spoke to her about wanting to marry her—an encounter she said left her shocked and confused.
According to her account, she was unable to react at the time, describing herself as frozen and struggling to process what was happening.
Chidera also made further allegations concerning the circumstances of her birth, claiming that her mother, who she said was a choir member at Pastor Okafor’s church, was raped by him. She stated that she was born out of wedlock as a result of that encounter.
She added that after the alleged incident in 2020, she contacted her mother—then serving as a corps member—who subsequently came to pick her up from the pastor’s residence.
All allegations remain unproven, and Pastor Chris Okafor has yet to publicly respond to the claims circulating online.
