Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has sparked widespread concern after releasing a tearful video expressing deep emotional distress over her ongoing family crisis.
In a series of posts shared via Instagram Story early Friday, the actress — visibly overwhelmed — lamented her struggles and declared she had reached a breaking point.
“I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy. I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,” she said as she sobbed in the clip.
The breakdown comes shortly after Daniels celebrated the reconciliation of her once-estranged parents, who she revealed reunited solely to support her.
“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness,” she wrote, noting that both parents are now in Abuja working to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who has reportedly been detained for days.
Daniels alleged that despite repeated assurances, delays persist in his release, leaving her mentally exhausted.
“Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long… We will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!” she declared.
In another video, fellow actress Mercy Johnson was seen searching for Sammy, stating “He’s not here,” before continuing her search elsewhere.
Amid tears, Daniels hinted at returning to her billionaire husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, saying the pressure had become unbearable.
“But please, what am I even begging for? I don’t know. Do you guys think it’s easy? Every time I wake up, I say one thing — oh my brother, today I hear good news, tomorrow I hear another thing. I’ve tried. I have to go. I will go back,” she cried.
Her emotional messages intensified with more troubling allegations regarding the circumstances behind her brother’s detention.
“I give up! What was my brother’s offense? Fighting for his baby sister because his in-law would always beat her up?… It’s obvious the highest bidder always wins. Now I’m crippled! I will return if that’s the only way — do whatever he says, get injected like a zombie, get locked up and raped in the house. Only then will my brother return,” she wrote, accusing Nwoko of wielding enormous influence. “We lost or rather I lost!”
This comes weeks after Daniels hinted at domestic violence in her marriage. In an earlier viral video, she cried out:
“In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.”
Nwoko denied the allegation, attributing her claims to “drug and alcohol abuse” and insisting she needed rehabilitation.
As the situation unfolds, Regina Daniels recently urged the public to stop attacking her mother, describing her as her “pillar and protector.”
