Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has alleged that Pastor Chris Okafor of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry attempted to influence her to withdraw allegations against him by sending her a total of $10,000.

Ogala made the claim in a video currently circulating online, where she accused the cleric of asking her to record a retraction video and attribute her accusations to rival pastors allegedly seeking his downfall. According to her, the money was delivered in two instalments of $5,000 each, packaged in a Zenith Bank envelope.

She claimed the pastor wanted her to publicly state that she had been instigated by other pastors to fight him, a request she said she refused to honour. Ogala maintained that she did not accept the funds as an inducement but deliberately collected them as evidence to support her allegation that attempts were made to silence her.

“I am not a blackmailer,” the actress insisted, stressing that the money was meant to compromise her stance and credibility.

The allegation is the latest development in a bitter public dispute between Ogala and Pastor Okafor. The actress has filed a ₦1 billion lawsuit against the cleric, accusing him of breaching a promise to marry her after what she described as a nine-year relationship. Tensions escalated further after Pastor Okafor recently married another woman.

Neither Pastor Okafor nor his ministry has publicly responded to the latest allegations as of the time of this report.
