The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has released his prophecies for 2026, projecting a year of economic easing, renewed hope, and a shift in Nigeria’s migration pattern.

Pastor Adeboye delivered the prophecies during the RCCG’s annual crossover service held at Redemption City along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway on Thursday, January 1, 2026.

He described 2026 as a year that would surpass 2025 in impact, marked by increased breakthroughs, victories, and successes, with fewer setbacks. According to him, the spiritual “wind” that began in 2024 will intensify, leading many to testify, “God remembered me at last.”

Focusing on Nigeria, the cleric predicted a reduction in hunger and a revival of small and medium-scale enterprises. He also forecast a “reversed Japa,” saying many Nigerians who migrated abroad in search of greener pastures would begin to return home.

Adeboye noted that the prophecies shared at the service represent only the first phase concerning Nigeria, adding that the second part would be released on Friday, January 2, if God permits.

On global affairs, he said the chances of a major world war in 2026 would be lower than in the previous year. He added that weather conditions would largely mirror those of 2025, though a few major hurricanes could still occur.
