Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has escalated her public dispute with Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry, by calling on Nigeria’s Department of State Services (DSS) to investigate the cleric’s church.
In a video that has since gone viral, Ogala alleged that the DSS should examine the church premises, specifically its altar, claiming there were unresolved issues surrounding its construction. The actress suggested that authorities should excavate the area, though she stopped short of providing concrete evidence to support her claims.
Ogala further alleged that a fatal incident occurred during the construction of the church and claimed that a blogger later discovered something suspicious on the premises. According to her, the discovery allegedly prompted Pastor Okafor to contact her in an attempt to resolve the matter privately.
“DSS should go to that church and open the altar,” she said. “When they were building the place, it collapsed and somebody died. There is more to it, but I won’t say everything.”
The video reignited online debate, with reactions pouring in across social media platforms. It also follows earlier controversies between the actress and the cleric, including her claims of an unfulfilled promise of marriage and the recent circulation of a private photograph allegedly linked to the pastor.
Pastor Chris Okafor has yet to publicly respond to the latest allegations.
