The All Progressives Congress (APC) has staged a national convention in Abuja, showcasing the party’s commitment to advancing Nigeria’s development.

APC Chieftain Mr. Ade Omole told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the convention “clearly showed that APC is not only prepared but determined to build upon its achievements and develop the country.”

More than 8,000 delegates from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory attended the event, which Omole described as transparent, peaceful, and well-coordinated.

He said the convention reflected the party’s readiness to strengthen support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of 2027, noting that “the Diaspora remains a critical pillar in this journey.”

Omole highlighted Tinubu’s bold economic and development policies, which he said were already producing measurable results.

“The overwhelming support for the president at the convention was a testament to the acceptance of his leadership style and his administration’s policy direction by the majority of Nigerians,” he added.

He called on Nigerians to back the administration and urged APC members to remain united, emphasizing the need to “close ranks and work collectively for the progress of the country.”

Omole concluded that with sacrifice, patriotism, and sustained commitment, Nigeria could overcome current socio-economic challenges and achieve greater national progress under Tinubu’s leadership.
