The Snaresbrook Crown Court in the United Kingdom has confirmed that Nigerian dancer, Iweh Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, is expected to appear before the court over an alleged assault case.
The London-based court confirmed the case in a correspondence sent on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
The court’s Admin Team Lead, James Baker, told a media source that the matter is listed for plea and trial preparation on September 15, 2026, although the exact time and courtroom will only be made available shortly before the hearing.
Baker wrote: “I can confirm that this case is currently listed at Snaresbrook Crown Court for plea and trial preparation on the 15th September 2026.”
He added that criminal court hearings are open to the public, while precise time and courtroom details would not be available until the day before the hearing.
The development follows a claim by the founder of the Community of Nigerians in the United Kingdom, Benjamin Kuti, also known as Oluomo of Derby, that Poco Lee was in a UK prison and expected to appear before the Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 15.
Kuti said he became aware of the case through his regular attendance at court proceedings and his support for Nigerians involved in legal matters in the UK.
The court’s confirmation establishes that the case is scheduled for hearing, but does not by itself establish Poco Lee’s guilt or the outcome of the allegations.
